1. You laughed and reminisced with some of your oldest friends.
2. You didn’t have to lie about your age!
3. You felt better realizing that you were not the only one who had been married, divorced, married, divorced, married and/or is still looking.
4. You began new relationships.
5. You definitely rekindled old relationships.
6. It was an opportunity to expand your networking options.
7. Hey! We enjoyed an evening out without the kids….er, grandkids!
8. It was a chance to diet and shape up. (I failed, but everyone else looked maaavelous!)
9. You made the committee happy…we are a deluded bunch of die-hards that thought everyone should show up to appreciate all our efforts. And they did! Thank you everyone! And for those who didn’t, we expect to see you in five years!
10. And, finally, studies have shown that those who were initially hesitant about attending their class reunions discovered it was an event they wouldn’t have missed! It was really a good deal of fun.
